Numinosa ("we", "our", "the app") is a tarot introspection and guided reflection app. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

    The short version: Your reflections, journal entries, and card draws stay on your device. We don't collect personal information. We don't have accounts or cloud sync. Premium users have zero data collection.

1. Data We Store Locally

Numinosa stores the following data exclusively on your device (local SQLite database):

Daily card draws and their dates
Spread reading history
Journal entries (text, mood, selected keywords)
App preferences (language, notification settings)
Practice statistics (streaks, card frequency)

This data never leaves your device. We cannot access, read, or recover it. If you uninstall the app or clear app data, this information is permanently deleted.

2. Data Collected by Third Parties

2a. Advertising (Free Users Only)

If you use Numinosa's free tier, we display ads through Google AdMob. Google may collect:

Approximate location (based on IP address)
Device advertising identifier
Ad interaction data (views, clicks)
Basic device information (model, OS version)

This data is collected and processed by Google according to Google's Privacy Policy. We do not have access to this data.

Premium subscribers are not shown ads, and no advertising data is collected.

2b. In-App Purchases

Subscription purchases are processed by Google Play and RevenueCat. These services handle payment processing and may collect:

Purchase transaction data
Anonymous subscriber identifiers

We do not collect or store your payment information (credit card numbers, billing address, etc.). For details, see RevenueCat's Privacy Policy and Google's Privacy Policy.

3. Data We Do NOT Collect

We do not collect, store, or transmit:

Your name, email address, or any personal identifiers
Your journal entries or card draw history
Usage analytics or telemetry
Location data (beyond what AdMob collects for free users)
Contacts, photos, files, or any other device data
Browsing or search history

4. No Account Required

Numinosa does not require you to create an account. There is no login, no email registration, and no social media integration. The app works fully offline.

5. Children's Privacy

Numinosa is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children. The app's content is appropriate for all ages.

6. Your Rights and Data Control

Because all personal data is stored locally on your device, you have full control:

Access: All your data is visible within the app
Deletion: Uninstall the app or go to Settings > Apps > Numinosa > Clear Data
Ad preferences: Manage your ad personalization in your device's Google Settings
Opt out of ads entirely: Subscribe to Numinosa Premium

7. Notifications

If you enable notifications, Numinosa schedules local reminders (daily card, evening journal prompt) on your device. These are processed entirely on-device and do not involve any server communication. You can disable notifications at any time in the app's settings or your device settings.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
